01 / Overview
Turning a large SEO platform into a clear product experience.
Backlinkit is an SEO and backlink-management platform that helps teams organize, monitor, validate, and report on backlinks.
The product combines a data-heavy SaaS dashboard with workflows for domains, backlinks, indexing, reports, competitors, tags, alerts, subscriptions, and account management.
How can a product expose a large amount of SEO data and functionality while keeping everyday tasks clear, searchable, and manageable?
02 / My role
Designing the product from workflows to interface.
Product / UI/UX Designer across the core platform, website, and brand touchpoints.
I worked across the product experience, from architecture and user flows to dashboard design, data tables, forms, dialogs, filters, interaction states, responsive website layouts, and supporting campaign assets.
- Product architecture and user flows
- Dashboard and data-table UX
- Backlink management workflows
- Filters, forms, dialogs, and interaction states
- Responsive marketing website

- Social, email, YouTube, and promotional assets
03 / Product structure
Organizing a complex SEO workflow.
Backlinkit brings domains, backlinks, indexing, reports, tags, competitors, alerts, billing, and account management into one product. I structured these areas into clear modules so users could move from overview to detailed work without losing context.
04 / Core workflows
Designing the everyday work.
Make dense data easier to scan
The backlink database brings domain, URL, anchor, landing page, HTTP status, link status, follow state, IP, TLD, and other SEO information into one searchable workspace.
Support different ways of adding data
Single, bulk, CSV, and Excel imports follow consistent patterns, with clear feedback and credit-cost messaging before expensive operations.
Turn data into something actionable
Advanced filters, search, column controls, pagination, indexing states, alerts, and link-health indicators help users find and understand what needs attention.
05 / Design system
A system built to scale across the product.
I created reusable patterns for tables, filters, forms, dialogs, actions, navigation, and status states. Poppins and Inter form the typography system, supported by neutral and blue scales with semantic success, warning, and error colors.
The system also documents contrast considerations, including AA and AAA values, so accessibility is considered alongside the visual language.
06 / Marketing website
Taking the product story outside the dashboard.
Alongside the SaaS product, I designed the responsive marketing experience with product positioning, SEO services, features, testimonials, pricing, knowledge content, FAQs, and conversion sections.
The brand was also extended into LinkedIn, YouTube, email, business-profile, testimonial, educational, and promotional assets.
07 / Challenges
Where the design needed the most attention.
Information density
Backlink records contain many attributes, so hierarchy and scanning had to work before detail.
Many connected workflows
Reusable patterns kept tables, filters, dialogs, imports, and states consistent across the platform.
Product and brand consistency
The same visual foundation had to work across the dashboard, website, and campaign assets.
08 / Reflection
Designing the system behind the screens.
The main lesson from Backlinkit was that complex SaaS design is less about individual screens and more about creating a system that makes hundreds of interactions feel consistent.
The Figma file contains 138 top-level frames, including 58 primary product screens and states, 24 supporting UI states, responsive website screens, social concepts, banner variants, and design-system work.
